Diamond grading is genuinely confusing, and it is where most of the cost of a ring sits.

Two stones with near-identical certificates can look quite different in the hand. A certificate describes a stone; it does not tell you how it will look on a finger in ordinary light. That is why we would rather show you stones than send you away with a chart.

What cut actually does, and why it matters more than most buyers expect. Where colour and clarity stop being visible to the eye. How carat weight interacts with shape and setting. And which compromises are sensible at your budget.

The aim is that you understand the choice you are making, so the ring still feels like the right decision long after you have stopped thinking about the price.
